This beautiful cuff displays Alex’s signature petroglyph motif with a three dimensional butterfly set expertly on top, boasting an earthy piece of green Royston turquoise. It weighs a hefty 169 grams and is nearly 3 inches wide. The inside measures 5 1/2 inches plus a 1 1/4 inch gap. Of course, it is signed by Alex and stamped sterling.
Alex Sanchez: Navajo artist. He makes beautiful works of art in contemporary and traditional fashion but is most known for his Petroglyph style that he has been perfecting for some time. His Petroglyph works include suns, bears, dragonflies, stars, and many other designs. He overlays these designs on a beautiful textured and oxidized background. His traditional work is just as fascinating as he uses some of the best turquoise in his works and builds the silver around the stones.
